When I was in 8th grade, I was told that I had to make a PowerPoint presentation, congruent with my assigned “career path,” that described what I wanted to be when I grew up. Like a totally normal twelve year old (…right) I picked Astrophysicist. It makes me smile to remember this, though, because I can remember exact moments from making that PowerPoint and now I have a degree in astrophysics!
